Eligibility

1. Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China and hold a valid passports;

2.  Be a high school graduate or have the same educational level;

3. Be upright, be in good health and above the age of 18;

4. Be a HSK 4 certificate holder if applying for Chinese-taught bachelor programs;

5. For native English speakers applying for an English-taught program, the Chinese language level is not required. Otherwise, the applicant must provide an IELTS 5.0 of English proficiency certificate or pass the exams held by School of International Education.

6. There is no specific language requirement for students applying for language training program.

Application Documents:

1. Signature page of passport;

2. Application Form for International Students of HSU;

3. Foreigner physical examination form;

4. High school diploma;

5. Academic transcript of the applicant’s three high years;

6. One to Two recommendation letters(from your high school teachers);

7. Certificate of Non-criminal conviction

8. A study plan

9. Language proficiency certificate

10. Parent’s identification cards

11. Parent’s certificates of incumbency

12. Certificate of deposit(there is supposed to be no less than $6000 dollars deposited in applicant’s bank account or his parents’ bank accounts until September 30^th, 2019)

Please Note：

1. All the above mentioned required documents need to be the original ones except the passport page, high school diploma, applicant’s parents ID cards and certificate of deposit.

2. The applicant’s high school diploma, academic transcripts, certificate of non-criminal conviction, parents’ ID cards as well as their certificates of incumbency need to be written in Chinese and English and notarized.

Procedures:

1. Submit all the required documents on time. Deadline for the spring semester is October 20^th and April 20^th for the autumn semester. Otherwise the submitted documents will not be accepted.

2. HSU will review the application materials.

3. Pre-admission letter from HSU after revision of the documents.

4. Applicants need to make a $200 dollars deposit in the bank account of HSU within two weeks of receiving the “Pre-Admission Letter”, Then e-mail the scanned copy of bank transfer.

Please Note：

Applicants who fail to register at HSU for whatever reason will not be returned the $200 dollars deposit. For those who register at HSU within the stipulated time, the deposit can be counted as part of the tuition fee.

5. Having received the $200 dollars deposit, HSU will start the paperwork preparation for the applicant’s visa and issue the “Admission Letter”.

6. Applicants need to go to the embassy of their own countries to apply for the student visa together with the application materials and “Admission Letter” from HSU.

7. Register at HSU within stipulated time.

Transportation:

Huangshan city is located in the southern Anhui Province, China. It derives its name from the well-renowned Mt. Huangshan, a UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage site.

By Air: Tunxi International Airport(TXT) is located in Tunxi District of Huangshan city. There are direct flights to Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Hefei and Guangzhou.

By High-Speed Rail: There is a well connected high-speed trains network to shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Xiamen, Guagnzhou, Hefei, Hangzhou and other important cities.
